Steps to try first - clear cache & linking account

The steps below resolve most issues related to our website - you MUST try them first before raising a ticket. If you don't do these steps first we cannot help you.


If, after following these steps, you still have an issue please raise a ticket here: Submit a ticket : Imaginary Ones Support


You MUST include a screen recording of the process so we can see where and what the issue is.


Step 1: Disconnect any VPN software you are using and make sure you are not going through any kind of proxy server. Connections from these will often be rejected.


Step 2: Go to https://twitter.com/home and logout of your X account by clicking your profile bottom left then clicking "Log Out @YourUsername".


Step 3: Clear your cache by, in most browsers, going to settings -> cache -> clear data, e.g. in Google Chrome it looks like this:

Step 4: Close and re-open your browser (on mobile devices force close the browser app)


Step 5: Go to  https://bubble.imaginaryones.com/ and click Connect with X


Step 6: Click "I am not a robot" - Make sure there are no red errors on the page


Step 7: Click Connect with X


Step 8: Sign in with your X account. Note if it doesn't ask you to sign in then you have either not logged out or not cleared your cache, you MUST do those first.



Step 9: Click "Authorize app"


Step 10: Click Authorize:


Step 11: Make sure your X username is showing in the top right:
