How to verify and get your discord holder role (and what to do if it doesn't work)

Instructions for what to do if the verification process doesn't work are at the end of this article.

In Discord, NFT holders receive roles based on the NFTs (and how many) they own. These roles grant access to various benefits and unlock other channels.

To obtain your role, follow these steps:

Step 1: Go to https://world.imaginaryones.com/verify and click "Connect Wallet".

Step 2: Select your wallet type and follow the instructions from your wallet provider - you MUST select the wallet that holds your IO NFTs. Selecting a wallet without IO NFTs means your discord role will not change.

Step 3: Click "Connect Discord" and (if prompted) login to discord:

Step 4: Authorize your discord connection:

Step 5: You should be redirected to the Imaginary Ones dashboard, and within a few minutes your role in discord should be changed.

What if it doesn't work?

Step 6: Clear your browser cache by, in most browsers, going to settings -> cache -> clear data, e.g. in Google Chrome it looks like this:
 

Step 7: Close your browser session, by closing the browser on the desktop or by force closing the app on your device.

Step 8: Open your browser and go through the process again.

If, after following the steps above, you still have an issue with getting your discord role then create a support ticket titled "Role Issue" (or reply to the email you received when opening your existing ticket) and copy/paste the following templated information (add your answers to each question, tickets without this information will not be responded to):
